Last Night...

Last night was a hell of a lot of fun. Went out to the Glasshouse. The Glasshouse had a funky little garden outside, and was a lot of fun to sit around talking to new people, but had seriously crappy music. I mean, I know there's a cover to "Smells Like Teen Spirit" but there's no reason for DJ's to screw around with the song's rhythm.
It closed at three, so I went on from there, with a friend's housemate, to the Peel. I didn't have ID on me (Dudes, I'm 22. I pretty much look it. I worry more about train inspectors giving me a fine than carding, hence I had my concession card, but not my learners' permit.) and I also had open toed shoes, which weren't allowed by the dress-code. I ended up swapping my shoes with a friend who was going home, and dancing in his sneakers. The Peel actually had some really great music to dance to (they even play Sunglasses at Night!) and I had a great time dancing to it until it closed (at 7am).
By the end of the night (or morning), people tried to keep it going, and wanted to go the Market but I was far too stuffed. Hence, we eventually went back to their place and got my shoes. I also ended up escorting another friend of theirs (a veryhungover 17 year old) back to the city with me, and onto the Werribee train. That was not so much fun, but I'm considering it good karma. Made me very glad I'd only had three drinks last night (but these days I'm enough of a lightweight that I really felt those three).
I got home at midday, crashed until 6pm, and then woke up and decided to come online. I have a shocking headache and I'm pretty tired, but all in all, I'm not bad.
