I know very little about some of the people who read my journal. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.
But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "oh, her. she's that weirdo." (ahahahaha...kidding. I say that already.)
I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well.
It's damn cool. Comment, and let me get to know you. (Although, as my FList is fairly small anyway, I probably already have *some* knowledge of you, but the more, the better.)

The last time I ever had a genuine What I Want To Be When I Grow Up, I was in college. The goal: to be a slowly self-pickling drunken lounge singer in New Orleans.
I haven't had a career thought that I've wanted that much since.

We got down to the boring things like the fact that although I stopped biting my nails as a teen, I still suck on them. That they're always pretty short (like, the white tips are .5cm, or, like, a quarter of an inch, at the longest), because they bug me if they're longer. That they're not painted usually, because the polish chips by the next day, and I just spend the next week slowly chipping the nail polish off and looking tacky.

Ah, a practical kink. Now that, I thoroughly approve of. Yes, I'm the type of person who can defend my tie kink on the basis that's it's a damn easy, affordable and adaptable kink... *g*
