Long story short:

The car broke down on the way back to Melbourne. It should be fixed tomorrow (hopefully). Hence, I'm about to email work and let them know that as we're still about a three hour drive out of Melbourne, I won't be back until Wednesday.

On the good side, at least we broke down right in front of a caravan park, right at the beach. I've spent today lying at said beach (catching a light amount of sunburn across my shoulders) and imagining Casey and Dan taking Charlie to the beach.

(Hmmm... you know what, I don't even know which days Dan and Casey work. Is it weekdays only, or 7 nights a week...?)

I just wish I brought paper with me, and I could write. Instead, I spent hours in the car yesterday, mentally composing fics that I know I'll have forgotten by the time I sit infront on a computer again. On the bad side, I had the end of the Casey/Dan figured out perfectly. On the good side, the Matt/Christian story that took over my brain will never be inflicted on other fen. *g*

Hmm, I've often wondered that myself. Sometimes it seems like they work 24/7, but I'm sure they have to have at leat one day off a week. And I'm sure they'd get get time off during the summer ratings hiatus.

Mmm, Danny laying on the sand turning golden brown, while Casey and Charlie frolic in the surf. Or better still, the guys going for ice cream and a little bit dribbling down Caseyis hand that Danny just has to lick off which then leads to...

Okay, better do some real work now...

Well, at least it's not only me that's unsure of their actual hours. Although, Casey gets Charlie every second weekend, right? So that would imply they get Saturday nights off (for Charlie to be able to stay the night without it affecting his school.

*snerk* I am so amused by that comment, just because I was imagining Danny watching Charlie and Casey swimming. I wonder what it is about Danny that just screams 'not much of a seaside swimmer'...? *g*

Although he is a serious sailor. But of course, traditionally, sailors can't swim...

Hee! Hmmm... when is the 'serious sailor' stuff mentioned?

(Man, I need to sit down and watch all of SN.)

One of the eps. Can't remember which one and I just lent my dvd's to someone at work so I can't check.

From what I understand, they work from noon to midnight 6 days a week. I don't know which day they have off though - it's not Sunday, but beyond that I can't tell. It seems like a pretty grueling schedule, though...

*hugs ahab*

Thank you! Hmmm... that works, too, because I'm sure a 70+ hour working week is mentioned sometime.

I'm guessing it's got to be Saturday. If Casey has Charlie every second weekend, he'd need Saturday off to look after Charlie...

Yeah, that makes sense. I was trying to figure out which day of the week would have the fewest sports, but I don't think any night would qualify...
