Oh dude, slept in until 8.30am. Showed up to work at about 10am. Bad Annie.
In other thoughts, check out this. It's a study of how often Dan and Casey using Dan/Danny and Case/Casey, respectively. It's interesting. Highly geeky, but really interesting.
I find it intriguing because... my Dan and Casey? Kinda agree. Well, Casey thinks of himself as Casey, thinks of Case as a nickname that really only Danny uses, and generally thinks of Dan as either Danny or Dan. He uses them kinda interchangeably, but professional, serious stuff is Dan, and relaxing, having fun or intensely personal stuff is Danny. (Am I getting deja vu, or what? Maybe I've mentioned this in fic, or just thought about posting to LJ about it. Either way, feels like I've thought this argument out before. *shrugs*)
Dan thinks of himself as Dan, but easily recognises himself as Danny. Less of a personal attachment to either name. He thinks of Casey as Casey. He frequently thinks of Casey as Case, but doesn't always use the nickname.
Hmmm...
Personally, I think of myself as Annie. I recognise that out_there is me, but I always have the mental conversion of out_there=annie, not out_there=*me*. It's an odd differentation, but it's how I think about it.
