out_thereHow much do you think Abby charges for a session? $90 or $175? Dan mentions that he pays her $700 per month (Youch. That's my rent when I'm living alone in a two bedroom place.) and I'm trying to work out if he sees her once or twice a week.
I remember Abby's walls as being a funky dark orange. Am I right, or have I totally lost it?
I'm trying to write a fic that features quite a bit of Abby and Dan talking (in my head, it's been dubbed the Therapy fic), and I'm uncertain. All I know of therapists, I've learned from TV. (Okay, well I've seen a therapist like... three times in uni, but that was mainly to get special consideration on my results after my granddad died mid-semester. It was required, and it wasn't an ongoing thing by any means.)
Hence, I'm writing a fic, and I *think* I've got Abby's voice right, but I'm not sure if she's being too personal or not professional enough. Of course, it would help if this wasn't all armchair psychology, if I was researching this stuff a little, but instead, I'm flying by the seat of my pants.
