The worst thing about that time of the month, is when cramps screw around with your sleeping patterns. Finished watching the series final of Nip/Tuck* at 9pm, and was still awake at 11pm, just lying there in the darkness.

Plus, I woke up at 4.40am this morning. Wouldn't have minded if it was 4am, since I could have watched JL. Spent fifteen minutes pretending I wasn't awake and didn't need to go to the bathroom, and then acknowledged the truth. And took painkillers, switched off the 6am alarm, and went back to bed. Of course, I didn't actually fall asleep until about 6.15am.

However, that extra 45 minutes snooze made me feel much better.

* And, I'd just like to say that I really enjoyed their solution. Plus, Julia/Shawn/Christian may be my new OT3. Dude, they were so doing it during college, and in my mind, that last dinner was just a for them to get Christian liquored up and back into their bed. Yes, I spent last night mentally composing fic for them.

ETA: Casual day is going to have to be with work slacks. My non-denim jeans are *far* too tight! Eep!

Have you heard anything about new eps of N/T? Are they continuing it? I thought it was excellent.

Not a clue. But I'm over in Australia, so the US would get it first.

I assume there's a second season, as some reviewer in the local paper mentioned that Channel 9 would make sure to screen the second season during ratings period (instead of the summer non-ratings period). *shrugs*

Thanks. That sounds promising. They also got nominated for golden globes for best actress and best drama so that should help get it picked up. :)
