Okay, had Accounting Theory class tonight. I'm going to follow Celli's lead and name my teachers for easy reference. Hence, Accounting Theory lecturer gets to be Professor Feedback. Seriously, the guy is so genuinely thrilled when people talk up during lectures. (Or, as he says, when he "gets some feedback from the room"). He seems to get a real kick out of playing devil's advocate and pointing out that any theory can be argued for or against. It's kinda cool.

(Also realised that speaking up in a lecture of 60 people is better than caffeine for waking me up. Makes the heart pound and gives you that much needed shot of adrenaline. I may have to become vocal in these night classes. *g*)

The tutorial, on the other hand? Kinda annoying. Not everyone spoke up, but it would have been at least a third of the class, and half of them wanted to nitpick about the theories and say why neither of the two extremes is right. Made me want to roll my eyes, and made me feel sorry for Professor Feedback, putting up with a couple of different tutes of people arguing that you can't apply that theory generally, and it wasn't practical, and you needed a bit of both. Seriously, he had to repeat about three or four times, to seperate students asking seperate questions, that the question was asking for an answer to this *specific* example and that you can't pick and choose theories. It's one or the other, people. Either you support Positive Theory or Constructive Theory. Not both.

The class remains WWishly fannish. Yes, when they talked about the arguments for and against regulations, those opinions are labelled Democrats and Republicans respectively, because I'm sure I've heard the same arguements come out of Ainsley, Sam, Josh and others over the seasons. Basically, we're for regulations because we don't trust you to know what you're doing, or we're against, because we don't trust the governing body to know what it's doing.

Hmmm... I wasn't going to eat any more tonight, but I've cooked pasta and it smells good. *serves herself a big bowl* (Note: In this situation "cooked pasta" means I opened a packet, boiled it for 20 minutes, opened a jar of sauce and stirred. My cooking skills are impressive, y'all.)

Since I'm still high on fannish power from the number of people who voted in my SN poll (and if you haven't voted, go vote), I'm going to see if I can start a meme. *g*

SN Character you'd most like:

Most like to date:
Casey. He's known for his first dates, and I think he'd be sweet and funny. (And, um, sexy too.)

Most like to sleep with:
Dana. I have two mental images for you. S2 hair and biker chick leather. *raowr*

Most like to have a conversation with:
Jeremy. Even if I didn't follow the geekery, I think I'd find it intriguing.

Most like to go out drinking with:
Dan. I think he'd be great fun as a drinking mate. Besides, I get flirty when I drink, and I'm sure Dan could handle it easily.

Okay, I've eaten my pasta, I've watched Scrubs and I need to go to bed now. Night!
