Just met [livejournal.com profile] laylee for a quick lunch. Look what [livejournal.com profile] laylee lent me! (Ooh, try saying that three times fast.)

*holds up copy of "Threesome"*

*bounces*

I am watching that over the weekend. I've been warned that some parts are highly cheesy but as we all know, that's not going to stop me enjoying it.

Something that I find adorable about Danny is that he sings to himself while getting the Turkey sandwich (the infamous "Half a turkey sandwich" song). I've spent the morning doing the same thing, except my lyrics are "semi-naked gay Josh Charles". It's the same principle involved. *g*

I think I'm going to steal back one of my Danny icons just to celebrate. *g*

I have an SN snippet going round my head. Not a whole fic, not a scene that fits into one of my *three* current wips. Just a snippet.

Ironically it didn't take me as long to ride up the hill to work as it did to ride down hill to meet for lunch. Odd.

Must have been the power of a good lunch!

Threesome's been on the movie channels here a lot - it's on again this week - and I feel myself morally obliged to watch it every single time, because if I don't, who will, poor wee Josh and his HUGE HAIR will be acting to the empty air. I quite like it, actually. But I'm awfully miffed that they cast Josh as a cute gay boy and then only let him have straight sex. Such a cop-out!

On the other hand, Stephen Baldwin is hugely unfanciable, at least in that role - so's the character - so it wouldn't've been the bestest gay sex evah, I suppose.

Apparently there are some extras on the DVD. I may have to buy it after all. Oh god oh god oh god oh god.

*snerk* Of course, I *like* his huge hair but that still made me giggle. I'm a little like that with the Breakfast Club. Felt oddly guilty that I couldn't tape it and Buffy last night (I'd seen both before, but... Buffy love wins out over the 80s love).

Heh. Well, I really did enjoy it. And, it was straight sex but... I don't know. I liked it. I mean, I saw where the drunk seduction scene was headed, and they handled it a lot better than I expected (it was the one scene I had to keep pausing, cringing and then playing again. Didn't want to see Josh Charles embarrass himself and screw up, but knew I had to keep watching... *g*). The Threesome was... oddly not-straight, even though it technically was.

*shrugs* I liked it.

On the other hand, Stephen Baldwin is hugely unfanciable, at least in that role - so's the character - so it wouldn't've been the bestest gay sex evah, I suppose.

Well, I couldn't stop thinking of him as Barney Rubble. Oddly enough, I actually liked him. Not physically, but the character himself was surprisingly cool and open for such a screw-around frat boy.

Apparently there are some extras on the DVD. I may have to buy it after all. Oh god oh god oh god oh god.

Really? It's sad that my thoughts immediately go to semi-naked Josh Charles. No, wait, not sad. Typical.

ok, admittedly we haven't played this yet but we're going to, goddamit.

after eurovision last year (another drinking game), i insisted that if we got out threesome on video i wouldn't go to uni and would stay and watch it with my friends who hadn't seen it. whilst we all enjoyed it, it was also a bit cringe-worthy and we just started shouting out "HAIR!" and "voiceover of DOOOOOOM!" and by the end of the movie had devised a fantastic drinking game. the main rule is any clothes or hair that is so incredibly early 90s in its tackiness, drink. also, when the voiceover decides to explain the subtext to you. and so on.

glad you enjoyed it. 8)
