Really, that entire film can be summarised as: Oh my god, Josh Charles is *so* cute!
I didn't mean to watch it last night. I was going to save it for the weekend, but I had an hour to fill before Buffy. Most of that time was filled by watching The Reel NSync, which was NTSC and hence worked on Mum's TV and VCR. JC's giggles are still infectious and Lance still leaves me with an urge to say "Isn't that something?" Also, I'm kinda releived to realise why the singer from Cat Empire reminds me of JC. It's the hat. In the "Hello, hello" clip, he wears a dark beret/cap/hat thingy which gives a very similar effect to JC's in The Reel NSync.
Anyway, I had fifteen minutes to fill, and thought I'd just watch the start of Threesome, and got totally sucked in. Why? Because, oh my god, Josh Charles is so cute!
Of course, I wouldn't kick Lara Flynn Boyle out of my bed either. (And Stephen Baldwin? Will forever be Barney Rubble to me, and that haircut didn't help.)
Enjoyed the film a lot. Spent a lot of it laughing. Spent quite a bit of it giggling to myself over Josh Charles' aforementioned cuteness. (So cute!)

And you know what, I could have a whole conversation with him about artsy foreign films (nice pre-emptive touch, dropping in the Jules et Jim reference). We'd have stuff in common! I could be his very own combination fag hag and mother substitute!
Which is a bit of an odd ambition, thinking about it.

You know, considering his features, his level of cuteness defies explanation.

*sniggers* Yes, but I think I kinda share it. Okay, the faghag one, not the mother figure. The friendship, before sex becomes involved, looks like so much damn fun.

Mostly it's the eyes and the mouth, but also it's the animation (h'm, now I've made him sound like my very own sock puppet and let's steeeeeeer away from that image) - he looks better in action, oh god, am I not going to be able to say anything this morning? In motion. That's better - than he does in still photos.
And Danny is such a hugely appealing character, he'd probably be attractive no matter who played him. Within reason.
