Yes, I did get home and immediately turn the computer on just to listen to this song. We're talking a scary level of addiction here, folks.

Huh. Anyway, I have written YA and SV drabbles and wondered if there's anyone online at the moment to quickly proof-read. Not a full beta, just a quick skim to check if the characters still sound right. (I've been... absorbed in SN fandom, and the sorkinese may have permanently permeated my writing. When Pete starts quoting Casey lines, you need to take it as a sign.)

On a different thought, Mum's away for most of the weekend, so it's a chance to get some study writing done. Hey, [livejournal.com profile] celli, what's your weekend like? Would you have time to write a bit more of that SN fic we started on... *thinks* your Saturday afternoon/evening? (Should be my Sunday morning/afternoon, and yes, it is sad that I'll schedule writing but won't schedule study. I'm resolutely Not Thinking About It.)

Hey, I can proof-read those fandoms! Want to send them over? (I'm still off work, so I can do them straight away)

Just emailed them to you. (Interestingly enough, they were written for you anyway. *g*)

Let me know if you don't get them. I'll be up for another hour watching the end of Angel... (Oooh! Wes's father!)

Just sent the YA one back, and about to look through the SV one.

And I really meant the fics as an either/or, not that I'm complaining at getting both! I just feel greedy. *g*

Enjoy Angel. Where are you up to? I've just finished Ep4.3, and have the next 6 downloaded now that season has shown up on SuprNova.

I'm up to... 4.4, I think. It's screening weekly on TV. Anyway, it's the one featuring Wes's dad.

I'm loving this show *so* much. It makes me laugh so much, and it's so damn slashy. My Wes/Gunn hopes have come back full force, and Spike is just... slashy as hell with everyone. *g*

Are you sure it's not 5.3? Only Spike's not back in the episodes I've seen, and Wes and Gunn still aren't speaking. So I think you might be a whole season ahead of me. But I might watch 4.4 later and see, as it's the next ep for me.

*sniggers* Good point. I'm up to S5. (Yes, I suck for not realising that.)

But, still, yay for you being able to watch S4. It's a painful season (also known as the year when Wes lost his shaver!), but man, I loved it. Then again, I love Conner, and I thought that season's Big Bad played with the rules of morality in a very interesting way.

I've sent your SV fic back now too, so let me know if you don't get it. Though we don't seem to get the problems we used to with emailing each other.

also known as the year when Wes lost his shaver

I always used to wonder why people thought Wes was sexy, but I'm beginning to see now....

I always used to wonder why people thought Wes was sexy, but I'm beginning to see now....

Because he's sexy and adorable, and... *sighs* Yes, not even his ridiculous scruffy almost-beard can change my mind.

On the other hand, I do find something disturbingly sexy about Wes being so dark and threatening... I shouldn't find it a turn on that a favourite character kept a woman *locked in a closet*, and yet, I do.

...

Hey, does this work better?

Hamilton raised an eyebrow. "Scout's right. All of Rawley's celebrations are kind of cheesy."

"It's not like there's a high standard of originality. There's even a Spring Fling," Jake said, grimacing. "No-one cares. They just want an excuse to get together and meet girls."

"And drink without the any authority figures finding out," Hamilton added with a wide smile.

Yes, that's better. But cut the 'the' from And drink without the any authority figures finding out.

BTW, do you want me to give you all the caps I make from YA Ep8, like that last lot, blurry ones and all, or would you rather just pick and choose from the ones on my caps page?

*snerk* You'd think I'd spot that...

I'm going to be super greedy, and bounce up and down and ask for all of them. *g* I'll probably barely use half of what's online, but... I enjoyed flicking through the pretties. (It's almost like watching an ep. Except no cheesy dialogue. *g*)

That's fine. I've got my little group of YA fans (5 of you now) to send links to. Not sure when I'll do the caps though - maybe next week. I want to cap all Season 1 SV, Seasons 1 and 2 of tWW fairly thoroughly (maybe 50 - 100 caps per ep) and a few other odd episodes of other shows...

What's even sadder is that if we don't schedule it, it won't happen until roughly 2008. I can do Saturday early evening, between 6 and 10 my time (though I've forgotten the time change again, that's 11am-3pm, right?).

Let me know and I will write you down in my planner. :)

Yeah, or 12-4pm, I think, but... daylights savings is ending soon so you may be right. I'll probably be online most of the day so it won't be a biggie if my calcs are off.

What's even sadder is that if we don't schedule it, it won't happen until roughly 2008.

We're twelve. It's so sad.

Then again, that's probably why we write the boys so well.

See you Saturday! *writes it down*

Hey, that's a bit unfair...

*thinks about the boys practicing their boxing*

No, you're right. We all have the mental age of about 12, with added lust thrown in.
