Jeremy/Dan/Casey smut. This isn't a value judgement people, this is just a gut reaction. I don't want to read Jeremy-smut.

I really don't.

ETA: Except for the fact that I kind of had to skim through it just out of morbid curiousity. *blinks* It's like turning on a porn video and seeing Jeremy. Just... wrong.

Something that should freak me out more is that I'm sitting at work, reading fic. I have work I need to do before I go home, and instead, I'm putting it off (and delaying my leaving time) by reading fic. It's just silly.

It's official, Sports Night will never be a threesome fandom for me. However, the more I think about Dan/Jeremy the more I like it.

The bit with the watching TV cracked me up though.

Yeah, Dan's attention to the political ad struck my fancy, too.

I'm shockingly OTP about SN. Dan/Jeremy only works for me if Dan's still hung up on Casey. It's sad, but kinda true. I mean, I can suspend my disbelief breifly while reading, but I'll never fulling agree with the pairing. (This coming from a gal in the middle of Dana/Lisa...)

And as for threesomes... hmmm... SN will never be as much of a 3some fandom as Buffy, but I love the Dan/Casey/Stacey Kerr fic, because it makes the 3some *work*.

I can't cope with Jeremy and group sex, but I do quite like the thought of Jeremy/Dan. That might just be because I like the thought of pretty-much-anybody/Dan, though, rather than having anything to do with Jeremy himself.

(My nerdy, and not in a good way, little brother in RL - I say little brother, he's actually 40ish now, but as he was born 40ish it makes little difference - is called Jeremy. Possibly this affects how I view the character. Though I hope not.)

Even Dan/Jeremy, it takes a good author to sell it to me, and woe betide them if they make me imagine Jeremy naked. It's not like I don't have a soft spot for geeks, because I do, it's just that Jeremy's kinda... straight to my mind. (Unlike Will on WW, also played by Joshua Malina. I have no trouble imagining him gay and naked.) *shrugs* It's a highly character-centric thing.

I know it's not the idea of group sex, because my love for the Dan/Casey/Stacey Kerr fic knows no bounds. Also, if an author could do it well, I'd be highly interested in Dan/Casey/Dana, but it's a problem of making it believable. (Mind you, I'd be curious about Dan/Casey/Lisa if it could be made believable, and on that note, we're leaving the topic of group sex.)

Heheheheh. Well, there's not a lot of drool-worthy characters called Mark, so I'm safe from the name thing. On the other hand, I just came to the realisation yesterday that the reason I'm not attracted to Sean from YA is because of the resemblance to my brother. It's probably why I don't go for the baby-faced blond guys.

Baby-faced dark haired guys I have no problem drooling over... *g*

(Tiptoeing back to the subject of group sex, ringing its doorbell and running away very fast ...)

I'm not convinced Casey would be the type. I think he'd get possessive and wouldn't want other people playing with his toys. And I also think that Dan, although he's happy to play the field while he's unattached, once he was in love he'd be a one-person man.

But that's just in one possible Sports Night universe ...

I just had cake for breakfast. (Apropos of nothing at all.) Bad me.

Mind you, I couldn't see it on a permanent basis with any SN character, because it would screw with their mind too much. But, I could see it happening once, most likely with all parties shockingly drunk. Although, you have a good point about possessive-Casey.

I mean, I don't think Casey's quite as repressed as he sometimes appears in fic, but I do think he'd be fairly embarrass by the outlandishness of the whole idea, unless he was fairly wasted. That might make a difference, because Casey does seem to be a bit of a voyeur. (Do I need to remind you of him *folding* away the photocopy of Stacey Kerr's butt? *g*)

And, Dan? For all his cool-talking ways, I think he's far more of a serial monogamist than anything else. He didn't call Rebecca because he was dating Elaine. He doesn't even seem to consider seeing two girls at the same time. Considering he doesn't always get on that well with people in general, I couldn't see Dan going out of his way to put himself in an intimate situation with more than one person; I think he'd be far more comfortable when he could concentrate on getting one person to like him. He wouldn't like having to divide his attention trying to convince two people to like him.

Unless, of course, it was Casey. Who already likes him. *g*

I just had cake for breakfast. (Apropos of nothing at all.) Bad me.

Yay for cake! And cake for breakfast? The food of kings.

(...or is that horseracing? *g*)

*laughs* It's so wrong that my first thoughts are:

1. Was it good Jeremy/Casey?
2. Huh. I wonder if that would work...
3. Ewww! Bad mental images, bad mental images!

1) Not very, really, although (sanctimonious voice) (it takes a lot to be sanctimonious when you're talking about porn) who am I to criticise?

2) Well, physically, I s'pose, and they do BOND a bit in Sword of Orion

3) Ew! Nononononono!!

That doesn't count. Natalie's there for most of those scenes.

I don't know, I just don't get a slashy vibe from Jeremy. I just don't. Not with Dan, not with Casey. Not with Elliot, or Chris, or Dave or Will.

Although, you know, I don't really get a vibe from Dave or Elliot either. (Chris and Will bicker too much for me not to think... "Huh. Maybe...")

3) Ew! Nononononono!!

I had to share the pain. *grins evilly*

No, I'm pretty sure Dave's straight, which is a bit of a waste for a man who dances like that. Elliot might have repressed mother-issues. Chris is gay. Will could go either way (as it were).

It's funny how some characters do, and some don't. Casey's slashy as all get-out, but I can't slash Nate from 6FU and not just because the only available options are his brother (ew!!) and Federico (ew! ew! ew! ew! EW!!!). Jeremy doesn't but, as you said before, Will from TWW does - at least, in the five minutes or so of screen time he managed to accumulate in season 4.

Dude, Frederico is so straight it almost hurts. But, um, Nate? Nate/Billy, unfortunately, is kinda possible. (I mean, yeah, it'd be freaky and wrong, and all connected to Brenda, but there is a freaky Brenda/Billy/Nate fic out there that works in all the bad ways.)

Yeah, I'm basing my assessment on S4. But, the whole scene when Sam travels down and gives him his tie? Highly slashy.
