Y'know, tboy, this boozefest competition was a great idea! There are some unusual and wonderful fics coming out of it. I just wish I had time at the moment, to sit down and read them all. *g*

It really is drawing some outstanding stuff, *isn't* it? I love being exposed to new fandoms this way - by dint of sharing someone's love for the characters, whoever they might be, and sharing in the post-posting enthusiasm *g*.

Woo-hoo! There can never be enough Lawrence of Arabia slash. I enjoy the fics every time I read them, but like most rare-ish slash, it comes down to only a few good stories in the entire 'net.

I love coming across the rare-ish stuff. I adore a writer who can shine a slashy light over a movie or show that I really enjoyed. I think it's also easier to avoid slash stereotypes and fanon...

It's just a little bit like browsing in a cheap second hand store and finding that perfect top. It feels just a bit like discovering your own treasure!
