I should be doing the assignment, but instead I'm pasting all the bits of the Homophobic wip into one word file. Just checked the wordcount.

It's 39,592.

That's the longest fic I've ever written. (Okay, I think I've written two anime fics around 35,000, but they were long, wordy, and y'know, written when I was 17. This has to be the longest fic I've written in the five years since then.) And it's not finished.

I have ideas, and snippets of scenes, and I can't decide where I want it to go, but I want it to end happily. And I feel like I still have about a third of it to go. *looks worried*

All I can say is: shellah, I'd better see that SV wip finished.

Size Doesn't Matter.

I just wanted to say that. But I'm hungover, so can't be held accountable.

It's a good fic, though, and that's the important thing. And it doesn't seem that long, but maybe that's because you've been posting it in nice, bite-size, bedtime-story chunks.

[You asked - ages back - whether it was obvious where Dan's hickey came from, and for some reason I don't think I ever got around to answering. It was obvious to me, but that's 'cos I knew (roughly) where the story was going. It wouldn't be obvious to Casey and the people at work, they'd assume that Dan went out with an old friend and they picked up a couple of groupies along the way. Which is what they did assume.]

Isn't 'hickey' a nice word? I wish we'd had that word back when I used to get them.
