I have that little voice in the back of my head (someone termed it a Fraud Muse, I think) pointing out that I'm losing control of the fic, that I'm getting distracted with little conversations and new ideas, that it'll end up being a schamozzle...
So it's very reassuring to hear that it's not, y'know, just distracting and annoying.
