Am up-to-date on the FList. (Not so up to date on the workflow, though. *g*) I have a huge headache. Seriously, there are little gnomes pounding nails into my temples as we speak.
Anyway, guess what happened while I was away? The building my office is in got a bomb threat. Twice! They even ended up having a four hour lunch yesterday.
I mean, yeah, it isn't like I missed out on anything major, but... If I was working with another SN fan, I would have spent the afternoon cracking up with SN quotage. (Although, apparently, there were no dogs used in the search. *boggles* Of course, I'm a little more surprised by what anyone would have against the Housing Association. I'm guessing when builders get mad, bombs will follow.)
Sometimes, I love drabbles. Like
laylee's little insight into a happy, slightly zany, pregnant Dana. *happy sigh*
Anyway, had discussions with Mum last night and we're probably moving down to Geelong. On the one side, there's more time spent commuting, and I can't stuff around after work checking LJ. On the other side, I've got more time on the train to sit down and write fic.
Due to the aforementioned headache, I haven't written Celli another bit of the accounting fic, even though I promised I would. (Dude, there are fics I promised to people *last* year that I still haven't finished. I'm... whimsical like that. *g*)

Date: 2004-06-09 01:08 am (UTC)You're doing better than me with the friends list: my parents are visiting, so not much online time for Signe this week, even though I've got three days off work.
Maybe they couldn't use the dogs because they all had colds? *g*

Date: 2004-06-09 01:12 am (UTC)Still, everyone around here's just 'same old, same old.' I'm trying to imagine Casey and Dan if they'd had two bomb threats in a week... *giggles*

Ah, *fun*. Well, yeah. you want to have a real life and interact with people, it's just a pity you can't have extra hours in the day so you can still fit the online stuff as well. *g*

Date: 2004-06-09 01:18 am (UTC)I don't think even reminding them of all their female viewers would get them anywhere near the building! Not sure I'd be too thrilled either.
Ah, *fun*.
Hmmm. You could call it that....
The only way I get so much online time is by cutting down on sleep. Which I can do for a good long while, but everynow and again I need to get a normal amount of sleep for a while, so this is my sleeping week! So I should be all sparkly and lively and refreshed by next week! *sniggers*

Date: 2004-06-09 01:40 am (UTC)I said I'd have a little something for you if you kept your promise of staying offline and studying. *g* I thought you'd like these caps, though I'm afraid I've not managed a good job with the text: I'm not good with large text.

I *love* "This is happening way too often." LOVE!!!
LOVE!!!!!
Okay, I'm backing away from the exclamation marks right now, but, dude, *love*. It's just so perfectly resigned, and Casey being just that touch of adorable, and okay, maybe I don't *need* it because of my Peppy Casey icon, but I adore it and am stealing it anyway.
(Love!)

Date: 2004-06-09 11:39 pm (UTC)The second I saw him sitting there like that, I had to cap it, and knew you'd love an icon of that moment. Not that I'm hoping you'll have days that will call for that icon, but just in case....
Plus I was proud that I got a show quote, and the one for that scene too, on the icon!

Date: 2004-06-09 11:44 pm (UTC)It's just... perfectly Casey, perfect for those resigned, deep-sigh type of days, and yes! I have much love for it.
*huggles icon*
*hugs you for making it*

Date: 2004-06-09 05:53 pm (UTC)I really like the cropping/colors/effects of the image, but the text seems odd to me. I'm not a big fan of blank/untexted icons, though.
I want to spend a little while thinking about this. Would it be cool if I got back to you later about it? I'm thinking a one or two (or maybe three) word phrase would work better, but I'm not sure what it should be.
But, still, long-suffering Casey!
*hugs new icon*

Date: 2004-06-09 11:51 pm (UTC)I was thinking maybe "on display" or "always watched" (or "still watching"), maybe in big pretty, swirly writing (like my "Everyone" in this icon, maybe...?)
*stares at icons*
Hmmm...
Or maybe even "waiting"...
ETA: However, your "nice view" suggestion would be great! Just cheeky enough to be perfect for the boys.

Date: 2004-06-10 12:33 am (UTC)I like the *colors*, so it'll have to be the first. Plus, there's the swirly N, wihch just looks neat. *g*
(Oh, and as an extra yay, it'll be an "N" icon. I'm slowly building a collection of icons that spreads itself across the alphabet! *g*)
