Ten just advertised The OC during Queer Eye.

*giggles*

I guess they know their market.

ETA: Not only was it advertised down the bottom of the screen during Queer Eye, we also got a full-length ad in the break. I note they're not paying *any* attention to Seth in the ad. *pulls face* It's all poor, bad boy meets rich girl.

At least it doesn't seem *all* about Marissa, which was how Nine advertised it. And, y'know, the more Ryan on my screen, the better. *g*

Yeah, that's totally cool. I love the fact that they used the "welcome to the OC, bitch!" line.

Meanwhile, this new format for replying to an LJ post is just a bit weird. It's freakin' me out... (Ah, clicking the "more options" gives me back my old screen. Oh, and now I can preview... Cool.)

Yeah, OC adverts and diet coke ads with a nearly naked and very well built gentleman. Yum.

Marissa is a tiresome girl and doesn't get any less so as the series goes on. But her sister Caitlyn amuses me - she's not so much an actual child, more Julie Cooper's Mini-Me. I thought Summer was going to be tiresome too, but she turned out quite amusing. 'Ew' is such a useful, all-purpose expression ...

Kirsten's dad, when he appears, is, worryingly, Jim Robinson from Neighbours. I've never seen an episode of Neighbours in my life, and even I know he's Jim Robinson from Neighbours. (Vice-President Jim Robinson from Neighbours, if the second season of 24 is to be believed.) Almost as bad as The Farmer From Babe, who keeps turning up in The West Wing and then married Ruth in Six Feet Under. TV is very confusing some days.

Seth is the Star, of course. (Not to be contentious or anything.) But Ryan's eyebrows come a close second - no mean achievement in a show that features Peter Gallagher; they're almost as expressive as Josh Charles's.

I miss The OC. *Sigh* And I'm not even the target audience!

Hee! There's also a lot of furniture ads/home improvement ads. Or there were a couple weeks ago when QE last screened.
