Without a doubt, Sunday by Team Bonet is the best Utena fic. Captures each character and the feel of the series perfectly. (Makes me vaguely long for the weekend too, which is pretty bad on a Monday! *g*)

Second best Utena fic, is the transgender Saionji fic. (If you've read it, you know what I mean. If you haven't, don't imagine Saionji in drag. It's nothing like that.) Best slash fic where the only sex scene is technically het.

Hey, I found it! Ever After. Great Utena slash piece (my fave Utena slash fic) that's long, but so very worth the read.

Well, since LJ won't let me post, I'm just going to keep piling on the recs.

If you still have a taste for the slightly surreal, but you're not into Utena, try Bluebeard by Silvia, which is a nice little SV fic that left me staring and going "Whu...?".

More Good Omens slash! Salvation by afrai is fun, and nice. Plus, she also has a small list of other Good Omens fic. My faves so far are Mysterious Ways, a tiny little bit of MPreg fun, and Sex, which is a highly amusing drabble.

Also, Afrai has a LoTR fic that made me smile, Just a Thought. Immediately made me think of erilyn's Elrond icon.
