I'm sick.

Took the last two days off work, and I still feel pretty lousy. Apparently it's a nasty flu virus that's going around at the moment. And I just found out that I don't get paid sick leave until I've worked here for 3 months.

Already, I'm wishing I'd just stayed in bed this morning.

Also, I bought the plugs yesterday to let me tape-to-tape, using mine and mum's VCRs. Now I have three episodes of Hornblower on the same tape. I can't find another episode, that I was sure I had kept, so I must have taped over it. I wasn't too happy about that, as Archie and Horatio in the Spanish prison is so slashy.

The not getting sick leave for three months sucks! I've never come across a rule like that before.

And taping over something you want, that's the final straw sometimes :-(

Thanks for the hugs. I need them. At the moment, I'm feeling very sorry for myself, and wishing I was back in bed... and it's only been two hours at work.

Actually, I'll put up my hand for all of them. I have the last three episodes on tape, but with my lousy timing, I've managed to miss anywhere from the the first 5-30 minutes on each episode. *g*

Punctuality has never been one of my virtues.
