Snarky geeks! Mocking Kavanaugh! Lots of Zelenka!

In case you can't tell, I'm reading The Secret Life of Scientists by Julad and loving it. (seperis, you should read this. Really.) It's McKay/Zelenka, but it's all the little geeky touches that keep making me squee.

ETA: Do note, it has spoilers for S1. Just thought I should point that out. (I'm already spoiled because I'm reading indiscriminatorily whatever I get my hands on, but other Aussie fans might like a little suspense kept in their show.)

Also, I was checking out minotaur's list of WIPs to keep an eye on and came across the phrase "SG:AQUARIUM". That has kept me giggling for the last hour.

It's okay; you're forgiven. I'm the same with SN recs, actually. I'm all "Oh! Oh! You should read this! And this!" and then I'll forget the other *dozen* fics that are really, really good and should be Read By All.

And, regarding the pictures, am I the only one looking at those grey sleeves and thinking they need someone to hem those up?
