I just like the subtlety.
There can be a lovely sense of subtlety and sweetness to Lana/Chloe. If you have time, check out Pearl-O's fics. She has a Lana/Chloe story from way back in S1 (called "Rules to Journalism" or something like that) which I absolutely adored.
