Have I mentioned how much I'm enjoying the "take a dodgy romance novel plot and apply it to SGA" challenge at [livejournal.com profile] sgaflashfic? Because I really, really am.

[livejournal.com profile] chopchica's Kiss Me, You Fool is a brilliantly funny summary of possibly plots. Each one had me laughing. (Also, she gets an award for best Indian name for Rodney McKay: Talks-With-Big-Mouth. Hee!)

[livejournal.com profile] wickedwords wrote The Perfect Cappuccino which is full of caffeinated lust, and is as sweet and tasty as a really good mochacchino.

[livejournal.com profile] astolat went above and beyond the call of duty with No Refunds or Exchanges which takes the good old "arranged/forced/bought marriage" idea and makes it Shiny and New. It's so good that [livejournal.com profile] liviapenn even made a cover for the novel (which you have to see).

oh me too so much - this is probably my second favourite [livejournal.com profile] sga_flashfic challenge yet (I loved the exploration and telepathy ones too)

I'm just not up to/game to write one myself!
*grins*

Me either. I think it takes a certain type of brilliance to take an old cliched plot and make it new and shiny. I don't quite have that ability.
