Very real, and mostly works even with Fragments.

I'm actually thrilled to hear that. This was written before Fragments was done, and I have to admit I was a little sad that it stopped this story from working within canon. (On the other hand, we got to see lots of Ianto flirting with Jack, so I honestly can't complain. *g*)

I like all the details you give about Ianto's past job and his reaction to killing the weevil.
