BtVS Vid recs...

out_thereI got to bed at 3am after reading fic (but not being able to access LJ) and now I'm back on the 'net. I could admit the fact that being online takes up a good deal of my life, but I'd rather claim that I'm trying to finish downloading the darn Windows upgrades that wouldn't work last night. *g*

Since no post is complete without some mention of fannish things, I'll have to mention the BtVS vids by Laura Shapiro that I've been watching, otherwise known as the woobie!Scoobies vids.
First is Transparent, which is described as a Willow character portrait. It's wonderful. Gives you a good, well-rounded view of Willow and what's she's been through, and just makes you feel for her (even someone like me who's not really a Willow fan these days).
Next is Some Fantastic which she says is putting Xander's breakup with Anya in context. I see it more as a case of viewing Xander's horrific romantic history, but that's a case of tom-ay-to, tom-ah-to. *g*
I watched these vids a couple of times last night, and couldn't help just going "Poor Scoobies". *g* Laura also has a Buffy/Faith vid, but I haven't downloaded it yet, so I can't comment.
Meanwhile, Minitrog's BtVS tunes (the "audio-fics" I mentioned) are eating my brain. A few sound clips from Angel or Buffy put together should not be so.. hot. But they are. It's like listening to the porny background music of a fic. It's odd, but hot.

So far, my favourite entry for the contrelamontre 5-minute challenge (where the action taking place is less than 5 minutes long, not that you have five minutes to write it), is the Willow/Fred piece, T-Minus Three Hundred. Hot femslash. (Plus, it allows the Wes/Gunn still flourish... *g*)
