Work stuff
May. 14th, 2003 03:54 pmGenerally, when it comes to office politics, I'm perfectly happy sticking my head in the sand. Today, I've realised that really, the staff can be divided into four sections. The partners (ie. my boss, my other boss, and the other partners), the guys (2 staff, 2 team leaders), the cliquey chicks (4 gals who've been working hee longer than me, and all take their lunch break together) and that just leaves "us" (me, my co-worker in financial planning who does leases/home loans, and the receptionist).
Hmmm... that just leaves the audit team out, but there's one boss (belongs with the partners) and a gal who works under him, Niki. Don't know whether Niki belongs with us, or is part of the cliquey group. I don't pay enough attention to be sure.
Anyway, I just realised that while I generally avoid the partners (apart from my boss) and chat to the guys and the rest of "us", I really don't tend to talk to the cliquey chicks. It makes no difference to my job since they're all i the accounting section, but it's just an observation.
