This is such a lovely gem of a story. It's a really interesting and believable look into Eggsy and Harry's future, into what happens after the Happily Ever After, and it's so sweetly heartfelt and content. I love this sense that they've both grown but they still remember each other as they were, that there's history and shared memories keeping those past selves alive through the years.

A really sweet story.

Silly boy, Harry thinks despite himself, despite the fact that Eggsy hasn’t been a boy long since — he will always be Harry’s boy, come what may.

Yes, Mark Strong, but Eggsy is quite adorable and... yeah. I really thought Mark Strong or Jack Davenport would be the pairing fit, but no, most of the fandom is Eggsy/Harry.

I mean, I say most but there's still over 200 Harry/Merlin stories on AO3 (only 10% of fannish output, though). I haven't read all of them (obvsly) but I can rec a couple:
