Dude! Paige is singing Fever. Slow, sexy and sultry. Man, that's the way that song should be sung! *bg*

Hey! They cut it down to shreds! That song rocks, and they turned it into about ten lines long. *pouts*

Hmmm... Hey, is anyone on my Friends list keeping up with the Historical Clex challenge? Has there been an entry for 15-17th century Ottoman Empire Clex? I'm just curious because of the Harem documentary that was on this week and last week. I don't know just how I could fit Clark and Lex into the Sultan's palace/harem, but I'd like to see it done. Or, possibly, if I get time, maybe even work on a fic along those lines... Hmmm... Bad fic-bunny-spawning documentary! *g*

No! I was supposed to be in bed over an hour ago, woman.

And, I haven't finished reading the ancient Egypt Clex yet.

Agh. I haven't started reading any in the Historical Challenge, yet. Not enough time.

Are they all up on one site? Or is it a matter of scroilling through SSA?

I don't know! I've been following LJ links from Friends. Hence, I've read three. But they were really good.

There's cavemen Clex (http://www.livejournal.com/users/bexless/96508.html), which made me crack up. *wipes brow* You have no idea how hard that link was to find.

There's Ancient Egypt Clex (http://www.livejournal.com/users/rosenho/123002.html?mode=reply), which I'm currently, kinda reading. Well, I've been reading on and off for the last three hours. I don't quite have the concentration level tonight.

And there's Wild West Clex (http://shfc.kleinerplatz.com/stories/wendi_lastoutpost.html), which was really good. Damn, I loved that. And, check this out, this link leads to the Historical fiction archive. Heh. I didn't even know it existed.

OOh thanks *g*

(Feels intense guilt, as I had already read the Cavemen Clex offering *g*, thereby negating your heroic effort to trace the link *cringe*) I appreciate your adding it, though! A lot! :-) :-)

The rest will be noted and used, though :-D. Much thanks.

don't feel guilty

I forgive you. Teaches me better. Should have posted it, and come back to post the links, right? *g*

*bows* go for it. Hmmm... ten to midnight. I should so be in bed.

Heh. I was going to go to bed at 8.30pm. Really.

This is why I try to avoid going online on weeknights. I don't have the self-preservation to drag myself off. *g*

I've been so good. Haven't had a drink on a school night (until tonight) since I transferred into the new job.

Hmm. (Looks at clock). I was going to have an early night too. Come to think of it, I was going to have dinner sometime...

Aah, good luck on your foraging.

hey, for the WW fic, should I just upload it to the Boozefest mailing list/file uploading thingy, or is it best to email it to you directly? Considering I only need to change one minor detail (Heh. USA has 50 states, not 52. Who knew?), it's been ready to go for a while.

Ummmm.... add it as a file please; I *should* (Yahoo permitting) receive a message telling me a file has been added *g*.

50 states? Details! ;-)

The fic is just a little rift from a line in S1, regarding selling off entire states. In the fic, I joked about them selling off a state, and having only 51 left. *g*

Someone pointed out that there were only 50 states, so I either didn't know my geography, or couldn't count. Hee!

Just a silly thing that I'd been sure of from TV, so I checked it out with a few other US'ers and got the same reply. There's only 50 states.
