*grrrr*

I have been very busy today, dashing around like a mad thing seeing clients and organising for documents to go where they need to. Praying like hell that this Franchise/loan will settle tomorrow and that the last minute super contributions will get in.

One client arrived 45 minutes late, the next one was expected 15 minutes later, and I'm trying to organise which forms the second client needs so I can just step out of one meeting, give the stuff to the second client, and then go back in with minimal fuss.

Of course, I'm helping on reception today, meaning that when the clients ask for coffees, I'm technically supposed to cover reception while the receptionist makes them. Seeing that I'm dashing around and more than a little pushed, she asks one of the other girls.

Who then replies that she won't because she's on lunch!

Now, I understand that just because most of us have lunch in the office doesn't mean that we're still working. Fair enough she's entitled to her lunch hour. However, it's the last day of the financial year, everyone is busy, and I don't think it would have killed her to have taken five minutes out of gossiping with the girls to make two coffees!

In the end, I did it and didn't manage to photocopy certain documents before they left the office (limited time, and I can only be in one place at once). I'll just have to call the bank and ask them to send a copy of everything back to us. (Really, really professional, isn't it?)

But still... *grrrr*

At the moment, I'm covering reception while the receptionist photocopies, and has a quick toilet break. From the looks of things, neither her nor I am going to get a lunch break today. But, it's nice to know that my co-workers had a full hour.

Gotta go!
