Poetic Procrastination

'Twas quiet at the office,
The staff were out to lunch.
Annie had been to the city,
And got herself a pizza to munch.
So, sitting at her desk,
she ignored the work piled high,
And tried to get motivated.
She should have known better than to try.
Thoughts of Josh and Sam,
Simply refused to leave her head.
She imagined them snark one another,
But she wrote this poem instead.
And that is the reason I will never be a great poet!
