I love my shows

The Bill got sacrificed for bath time. It was worth it to just lie there and drift off. Did I miss anything particularly slashy?
I did, however, catch Crossing Jordan and West Wing. (It had the little bonding "your gonna lose" speech from Toby, which I so enjoyed. Hey, US fans, will I be seeing Sam again this season, or is that it?)
I really enjoy those two shows. I have favourite quotes from each, which just made me laugh. I loved Toby's comment to Sam "You feel qualified to give the seminar on Call Girl Caution?", and I also liked Nigel and Bug talking about the idea of Jordan being gay:
Bug: "But she's had boyfriends."
Nigel: "The phrase is bisexual, love."
Bug: "Never say the words 'bisexual love' to me again."
Hee!

Date: 2003-08-02 04:33 pm (UTC)It occurs in a S2 episode (roughly the fifth episode in) which just screened here in Aus. Basically, the girlfriend of a conservative lesbian radio counsellor/talk show host, is found dead. When Jordan talks to the talk show host, they really connect.
What sparks the conversations about Jordan is that she lead the talk show host out of the police station (or morgue, but I think it was the police station) past a mob of reporters, and there were photos taken of her looking very concerned and protective, with one arm sheilding the talk show host.
These pictures end up in the society section of the newspapers, with them writing about Jordan as the talk show host's new girlfriend.
Of course, this leads to everyone at work having to get in a comment or two. Personally, I love the comments between Nigel and Jordan:
N: I've always wondered about you.
J: Look who's talking.
N: Touche, love.
There's a bit of a moment at the end between Jordan and the talk show host. Nothing too overt, just a tense moment that cold have become more, and the talk show host tells Jordan that 'she felt it too' and that 'it doesn't have to mean anything'. Jordan tells her that it feels like the talk show host really knows her, but 'she's not gay'.
Hope that helped. *g*
