So very quiet

out_thereMost of the accounting staff are out at an annual seminar. This means that at the moment, there's five people in the office, instead of the poosible twenty-five. The bosses are out (although, they have promised to be back soon *sigh*) and it's delightfully quiet.
Now, if I just get some work done, it'll be good. At the moment, the last two hours have been spent online not accomplishing much other than catching up on LJ.
I'm starting to think that Genie's right about the Zone. You have to be in the Zone to write fics. When you are, they come easily. When you're not, you try and try, but it just doesn't work. What I need to do is figure out how to get myself into the Zone...
