Another day without the boss! Woo and hoo!

Saw Chicago on the weekend. I loved it thiiiiiiiiiiis much! Favourite scenes were the puppetry number, the murderess tango, and the "Razzle Dazzle 'em" song in the court house. I'm kinda tempted to buy the soundtrack.

It completely rocked, although Miss Renee Z's lack of a bust kept distracting me through the first third of the film. I also found the evident ribcages on the dancers/other five murderesses rather unnerving.

I know everyone else said this too, but Queen Latifah rocked as Mama. (She's making me want to see the new comedy coming out with her and Steve Martin.) As did Catherine Zeta Jones, who was glamourous (and a little curvy).

Oh, and also, apparently, me sitting down to watch WW tapes is a sign to the universe that I've got time to do stuff. All weekend I meant to watch, and everytime I started, I was interrupted by something I was supposed to do. (Really, I should probably take this as a sign to get more organised and do more during the week, but I choose to interpret this as I need more time alone to ignore RL, and enjoy Rob Lowe... *g*)

For me, it's Chloe. I'm not often in a Chloe mood, but I could do with a cute smile and shot of enthusiasm right about now. (Plus, SV's on my mind, and she's the most glomp-worthy SV character...)

Hey, I know that someone told me to watch tonight's Bill. I'm not much of a Bill watcher at the best of times, and I haven't seen any episodes since that first kiss in the police station. (I have no idea how long ago that was...)

You know, I have no urge to read Clex smut. Don't get me wrong, it's a great little part of fandom, and usually I'm in there, reading and enjoying, but it just occured to me that I haven't read any actual smut, 'just for the sake of sex' smut, for a good while.

At the moment, I'm all into the sweet little moments (the drabbles were wonderful for that) and the character driven fics. Wonder if it has anything to do with not wanting to get caught reading porn at work... *shruggs*

Anyway, bexless has a lovely little Martha POV here which I just adored. I really do have a deep fondness for Martha, and fics like this just make me adore her all the more.

I'm bored and lazy.

Finally finished the stuff I was supposed to do this morning. Don't wanna start the stuff I have for this arvo.

Scary thought is that my boss may show up this arvo just to check how things went (ie. if I worked *g*) while he was away. *sigh* I want to be home with WW, or Lovers and Sons, which I taped and haven't seen yet.

And, I still need to stop by the shops this arvo...

Honey, I'm home...

Just got home. Left the office at 5, had to buy a couple of things in town (also picked up the Chicago CD, which will be fun later), and then had to stand in line for 25 minutes because my train ticket wasn't working! Admittedly they exchanged it, but meanwhile I missed my train, and didn't get home until, like, now.

Also, I generally like being a chick, but at that time of the month, the whole gender can just bite me. I'm sick of being grouchy and in pain, and hot, and tired, and clothed, and generally feeling... argh!

I'm off to have a shower, and then I'm going to enjoy the time I have on my own to surf the 'net, and then watch the Bill. (And make dinner sometime later, I guess...)
