Hey, [livejournal.com profile] tboy, you love me, right? So, you'll give me a little extension on the boozefest deadline? *big puppy dog eyes* I mean, you must be busy uploading everything, so having one file a day or so late is really a blessing in disguise, right?

I'm just going to point out that it wasn't my fault that I had to spend this morning moving random bits of furniture into the lounge. Likewise, not really my fault that the trains on my line aren't running today, and the buses took forever. Okay, it was my fault I got distracted by all the shiny new computers in Megamart...

But even with all these impediments that were totally not my fault (even when they were), the boozefest fic has been fixed and sent off for beta-reading. (It's even all in the same tense! *g*) So, it's like 95% done. Really.

You know, at the moment, I'd just like to borrow [livejournal.com profile] celli's crayon icon. I'll explain why.

We all know I don't have a DVD player. And my computer doesn't play DVDs. So why the heck did I borrow a DVD from Video Ezy?! That is a question for the ages.

I know I was thinking about remembering a phrase for the boozefest fic, and having trouble deciding what I wanted to get, but what the heck made me pick up a HP:CoS DVD? And pay for it? And not realise that it was a DVD until hours after I got home, and was about to put it in the VCR?

Forget being the sharpest crayon; I'm the yellow one broken into pieces, rattling around the bottom of the box...

Hey, Bedazzled is on tonight. Yeah, it's not a clever film, but I find it enjoyable. Favourite bit is the most sensitive man on Earth (Oh, the sunset! *weep* Hee!). It's a very good example of why guys in fics shouldn't end up crying every five minutes. It's not tragic, it's just funny. *g*

Meanwhile, I'm reading fics. Currently reading a GO one on FFN (Virtue and Vice & Vice Versa). Please don't let it be a WiP. I have no patience for WiPs at the moment...

ETA: Guess which chore I completely forgot about? Putting away my clean washing. *g* I'll do it during the ads.

ETA the second: Good grief! GO is not a work of purple prose and misery. If you're going to write litfic, at least try to match your style to the book in question. I mean, if it's a novel that's been turned into a film, I can give you more leeway. Fair enough, you could have been swayed highly by the visual style of the film, rather than the literary style of the book.

If your source only comes from a book? I'm not cutting you any slack.
