I am going to bed. No, really.

Hmmm... I should be in bed. Instead, I'm sitting at the computer, with the heater behind me, drying my hair in the laziest way possible.

Heh. Actually, I'm multitasking. Drying my hair and reading Shrift's Sports Night fiction. Okay, if anyone has great Dan/Casey recs, feel free to share them. I've given up on resisting these snarky, vaguely gay boys.

Hmmm... Genie just mentioned that Lanning Cook writes SN fic, too. Man, I love her SV stuff, so that would rock. However, I do actually need sleep.

Oh man, it's the thrill of a new fandom. That love of new characters, new ideas, before you even know the fandom well enough to spot the cliches, back when all you can think about is how *great* it is that there is all this wonderful unread fiction just waiting for you.

Yeah, bed. It's 1am. Need to go to bed. But I wanna be reading SN fic...

ETA: We now have 9 members on the Melbourne Slashers ml, including me. And, I've only met two of them before. This is going to be fun! *bg*

SN fic is the reason I got under 5 hours sleep. That Time of the Month is why I'm feeling tetchy and a little bitchy. Not enough to growl at anyone, just enough to insult clients after I hang up the phone and be vaguely bitchy about coworkers in LJ comments.

On the other hand, I love my new red shirt as well. It's funky, with this little stand-up oriental collar and slightly too long sleeves with slits up to the forearm with a little embroidered clasp at the top of the slit. Okay, it sounds odd, but it's really nice.

Work's been busy this morning. The boss is out for another half hour, so I got time to check and update LJ. Went out for lunch, had very tasty pasta, but now I'm sleepy. I need to go do some work, but first I think I'll check on a little more LJ...

Bubble bath time

I'm tired, I have cramps and I have a headache. I'm also rather grouchy. I do, however, have very shiny hair. Seriously, it's at Shiny McWhiny levels of shine here, folks. Normally, my hair does not look this good...

I've been reading Being an Anchor by Lanning Cook. That is a long H/C story, and a great example of an author taking a cliche and making it her bitch. It works, it hurts, and it makes me want to cuddle the boys and strangle the villian.

I'm going to print out the end of it, and hop into a bubble bath for a good long soak. Then, I'm going to give Mum a call (while I'm in the bath) and then I'll probably come out in time to watch The Bill and Crossing Jordan, and put Buffy on to tape before collapsing into bed.
