The boss left at 9am. He won't be back until 2.30pm. I am celebrating this by spending time (just over an hour and a half now) on LJ and email. I'm nearly up-to-date (albeit without reading any of the W100 drabbles for this week).

ETA: Hey, totally forgot to tell everyone about my dodgy morning. ( Ticket inspectors just doing their job... I swear, they must be almost as disliked as tax people and lawyers... )

For a morning that started full of bounce (after a good night's sleep I woke up feeling human... ie. able to do more than groan and glare for that first hour after I got out of bed), I have absolutely no enthusiasm.

None.

I'm totally lacklustre.

I mean, sure, my working ethic is generally a little MIA, but it's just nowhere to be seen today. I don't even have enthusiasm to sit and write something fannish. I just don't want to do anything. Just want to sit here, stare at my computer screen and eat munchies.



You know what? I lied. I started writing a little Sam/Will piece, and it's taken up my last forty minutes. Hence, I'm going to post this whine, and post my little drabble when it's written.

Hmmm... Well, as it turns out, I did use the four countrelamontre challenge words (desultory, silver, crisp and autofocus) but it took me a bit longer than 80 minutes (say, about 100... so that's not too bad considering it was done at work).

West Wing, S4 (Sam related spoilers), Will/Sam-ish, and mentions of the Lauren interns. Anyone care to beta?

Spent the morning doing nothing. Well, that's not true. I wrote WW fic.

Boss came back at 1.30pm. Since then, I've done a very good impersonation of working, and have avoided him. Hmmm... the trick will be avoiding him for the next 30 minutes... *g*

Ooh, found class notes from Harry Potter on 10 Ways to kill Draco Malfoy. *sniggers* Now that's very believable notes from a teenager.
