The boss left at 9am. He won't be back until 2.30pm. I am celebrating this by spending time (just over an hour and a half now) on LJ and email. I'm nearly up-to-date (albeit without reading any of the W100 drabbles for this week).

*snerk* Yes, I am easily amused.
ETA: Hey, totally forgot to tell everyone about my dodgy morning.
My weekly ticket expired this morning, so I needed to buy a new one. Since I forgot my cash, and using my bank card takes about 5 minutes, I decided I'd get the train and buy the ticket at the station. Got to the city, and realised that my tram was about to go, so I decided to get it to work, and buy a ticket on the way home. The trams leave every 5-10 minutes, so I should have bought my ticket and got the next tram.
Guess what happened?
Yep, the ticket inspectors got on my tram. They got on when it stopped at my stop, and when I stood up and realised I had to get off (probably looking guilty), they got off with me, and took down my details for a fine. So, there's a hundred dollars down the drain, all because I couldn't be bothered spending an extra five minutes in the city and buying the ticket. All because I was going to be lazy and buy it from the station on the way home. (I mean, it's not as if it would have saved me any money, or made a difference in the cost at all.)
Just a silly thing for me to do.

Oh well. Stupid mistake and a hard lesson learned. Miss the tram, get the ticket. Do not tempt fate.
(I didn't have any money on me, so I couldn't even buy a ticket... no cash, whatsoever.)
