Not dead, just working.

*yawns*

Man, I'm too tired to even be happy that it's a Friday. Serves me right for staying up to 11.30pm watching Firefly. For the record, there were quite a few scenes where I closed my eyes, blocked my ears and announced "I'm not watching this. I'm not watching this. Tell me when it's over." (in War Stories, and the ep before it).

Also, I don't see the River/Simon sexual vibes. To me, they just come across as close and loving siblings. The Mal/Simon vibes still seem really obvious to me, as do the Inara/Kaylee vibes. Regardless of how much fics can make it work, I can't believe in Jayne/Simon onscreen, because Jayne barely tolerates Simon, regardless of how "pretty" he ackowledges Simon to be. (On the het side of things, I absoutely love Wash/Zoey. That's a married couple that totally thrills me.)

I'm almost disappointed that I only have three eps or so to go... *goes back to working*

Boss just left. He was supposed to leave the office at 2pm (flying out to India at midnight), and it's been a lot of last-minute organising and signing.

On the good side, due to the disorganisation, four co-workers and I ended up getting away with about an hour and a half at lunch. *g*

Of course, now I have things to post that should/would/could have been done today if he'd left at 2pm. If I work hard, I'll still get them out. Alternatively, I could just catch up on my FList...

The boss said he'd call before I left the office, so I'm sitting and waiting. Everyone else is nicking off now.

I have the strong sensation that my brains have leaked out my ears. It just that feeling that all that's going on inside my head is an empty echo. (I'm probably just overtired, but my brain is so seriously in neutral it's ridiculous.) *yawns*
