It's a lazy saturday. So far, I've spent all day in bed watching TV. Saw video hits, and watched "The Beach" and "The Basketball Diaries". Now, I can understand when people are totally shocked over Leonardo DiCaprio's sex symbol status (I don't find him sexually attractive at all), but the boy can *act*.

I'll be watching the behind the scenes Kylie/Queer Eye thing on Monday, but I'm amused Ten's also advertising it as an "exclusive" sneak peak at the QE boys new clip. That exclusive would be far more impressive if I hadn't seen the clip this morning on Rage. *snerk*

Everyone has guilty pleasures. You know, those fic themes that... just appeal to you. They don't have to particularly suit the fandom, but you'll read them anyway. One of mine is probably sex slave stories. Blame it on the fact that the first piece of pure erotica was Anne Rice's Beauty Series (at the ripe old age of 12), but it just... kinda appeals.

Doesn't suit every mood, but sometimes, you just want to sit back and wallow in it. That's what I've been doing today. I've been reading The Hart and the Lion, an incredibly AU SN fic. Well, not so much an SN fic, as a fic with characters from SN, but vastly different setting.

The really amusing thing? I'm only halfway through and I'm really enjoying it. Took a while to get into it, to suspend the disbelief, but now I'm a happy little fangirl, settling in for the rest of the plot to happen. (Wars between nations, intrigue within the House of el-Rydell, *lots* of sex scenes... *g*)

While I'm pointing out wallpapers, I'll also draw your attention to a very pretty, very intriguing River & Simon one (love the text effects) and a great Billy/Brenda manip.

Meanwhile, it's hours later and I'm still reading the SN AU. Too cool. So far, we've met Danny, Jacob, Sally, Rebecca, Casey, Natalie, Isaac, Jeremy, Louise, Gordon, Chris, Will, Dave and had mentions of Sam (Rydell), Lisa and Dana (and Dana's six brothers!). That's pretty cool. Plus, there's prophecies! And nations at risk! And... still lots of sex scenes.
