Really, that entire film can be summarised as: Oh my god, Josh Charles is *so* cute!

I didn't mean to watch it last night. I was going to save it for the weekend, but I had an hour to fill before Buffy. Most of that time was filled by watching The Reel NSync, which was NTSC and hence worked on Mum's TV and VCR. JC's giggles are still infectious and Lance still leaves me with an urge to say "Isn't that something?" Also, I'm kinda releived to realise why the singer from Cat Empire reminds me of JC. It's the hat. In the "Hello, hello" clip, he wears a dark beret/cap/hat thingy which gives a very similar effect to JC's in The Reel NSync.

Anyway, I had fifteen minutes to fill, and thought I'd just watch the start of Threesome, and got totally sucked in. Why? Because, oh my god, Josh Charles is so cute!

Of course, I wouldn't kick Lara Flynn Boyle out of my bed either. (And Stephen Baldwin? Will forever be Barney Rubble to me, and that haircut didn't help.)

Enjoyed the film a lot. Spent a lot of it laughing. Spent quite a bit of it giggling to myself over Josh Charles' aforementioned cuteness. (So cute!)

Where the hell does that line come from? Seriously, I want to know.

I know that in The Sword of Orion, Dan says to Rebecca, "For I am Dan, doer of good things where women are concerned." But I don't know where the wonderful deeds come into it.


(...Heh. Did you know there's an Arrogant Worms' song called The Ballad of Dan? "For I am Dan the insurance sales man..." *sniggers*)

Well, I couldn't decide whether I should google Annie or Annie-Lee, so I did both.

Annie came up with typical references to Little Orphan Annie, Annie Get Your Gun and even one of Annie Lennox. I was amused by the links to violence as seen in this anime pic, this figurine and these shots. Y'all should fear my temper. *g*

I was also amused by this old fashioned photo, but Annie-Lee brought up far more older photos than Annie. It also brought up about five tombstones in the first couple pages, but the most interesting thing was this obituary report (page one and two). And this picture gets a mention too, just because I like it.

While getting the train to the SNathon last weekend, I rewrote the lyrics to Billy Joel's Pianoman. Man, I haven't written filk in *ages*. (Possibly because I'm not too good at it. *sniggers*) I'm tossing up on whether I should forget about it altogether, or if I should post it over the weekend for a laugh.

So, no boss in the office today, and no work has been done. How unusual. *rolls eyes at self*

And you know what I love about fandom? The back and forth. One person writes a drabble, someone else responds with another. One person makes Danny icons, someone else posts a little more of their wip. *bounces happily*

One of the best things about the SN archive is the random story function.

Because of that, I have another smutty story to add to that rec entry. Last Minute Trade. The name is familar, so I'm sure it's been rec'ed to me before, but I probably couldn't access it because the archive was down. In a word? This fic is *hot*.
