Painkillers kicked in
Dec. 6th, 2002 04:07 pmAs far as pain goes, I don't mind it as long as I can't feel it!
Forgot to mention that I went to Caberet last night. The theater production really is pretty different from the film. No Max, so the financial corruption was linked to smuggling for the Nazis, not to lust. Instead of the young Jewish girl and German guy, it was an older couple; a German woman who ran rented the room to Sally and Cliff and a Jewish guy (played by "Robert the Dentist" from Mother and Son). Sally was not the center of the story and tended to get overshadowed by the older couple.
I missed Max. I disliked the fact that Sally was English, and Cliff was American. (Was his name Cliff in the film? It doesn't seem right to me.) However, the emcee rocked. Toby Allen was undoubtably the best bit of the entire production for me. He was so good in the role, and looked really hot in makeup. See (Takes a while to load). Seriously, I'm never thinking about Human Nature in the same way.
These were nabbed from Tboy's LJ.
No! Isn't that awesome? Yay you! You've won the quiz and will be just fine as your tough woman self.

You're pretty smart, maybe even smarter than average. If you work hard you could be a rocket scientist or a chemical engineer, but you might just relax a bit and be okay with whatever your best is, too.

Surprisingly enough, I am okay with that.

And the weird thing is that this result makes more sense than some other results I've had. ^.^ And, drumroll please....

Which Sesame Street Muppet's Dark Secret Are You?

Bert & Ernie's Gay Love Affair Look, everyone knows you two are lovebirds. Why not do the brave thing and admit it to the world? The times are kinder nowadays. There may be the odd ultraconservative bigwig or overprotective mom, but so what? Piss on 'em. Come on out of the closet. It's ok.
*squee!* I am so ridiculously thrilled by this! Ernie was my first TV crush. When I was tiny (3-4yrs old) Ernie was my TV boyfriend, or so I believed. Just goes to show, I've always had a soft spot for the slashy types.
