ficlet drabble: exhaustion 2(?)

Well, since I don't have my own computer, and everyone's busy, I'm just doing basic admin work, such as photocopying and checking the files to find the clients address to send them their BAS forms.
However, I did start writing. The inspiration came straight from some of the boring things I'm supposed to read through!
(Hey, is anyone on the SV fic writer's resource list run by TaraLJC? I used to be on, but I've unsubscribed now. I posted another tired Lex drabble called Exhaustion a couple months back. Does anyone have the time to be really kind a email that ficlet. I can't find it on my hard drive and it's a bit of hassle rejoining just to save the file and then unjioning again...)
Lex blinked again and watched the blurry text slip back into focus. Leaning his head on his arm, he realised that he had no idea of what the last page of the report had even been about. The desire to simply close his eyes, just for a minute, was almost overwhelming. He yawned deeply, and then shook his head, as if he could dispel this tiredness by will alone.
He reached for a pen and started to write notes, scribbling down whatever he could remember about what he'd read so far. The pad of paper stared back at him, barely a quarter of the page covered with the scruffy, haphazard scrawl. At this rate, he'd need to red it all over again. He flipped back to the start of the report, and lifted the bottle of water to his lips.
Ten minutes later, he was fast asleep on the desk, face resting on the tiresome report and the pen still in his hand.
Edited to add: Hee! One of our clients has the surname "Cocks". I kid you not! Mr, Mrs and Miss Cocks... *g*
Yes, I have the sense of humour of 12 year old.
