Farscape may be back? Woo hoo!

I'm tempted to use my Girls icon (because of the Aeryn=Farscape thing) but I've also got a new Celli icon to show off. Hee! *loves bitchy Dana*

So far, I've been at work for 90 minutes, and I've probably worked for about 30 minutes. However, it was a good morning. Mum went to bed early, so I stayed up til 10pm reading popslash (if there's one thing I have to say for the fandom, it's that they do AUs really damn well) and then crashed. Woke up feeling pretty good at 6.30am, stayed in bed until 7.15am, then got ready and dashed for the 7.40am train. (Which I made. Yay me!) It was my type of morning. Mum was still asleep, so there was no taxing conversation!

Only odd thing was that I've got George Micheal's "Faith" going round my head. Couldn't stop singing it to myself this morning. I'm blaming it on the popfic. All it took was Chris singing a few lines... *g*

Popslash AU's do indeed rock, I think the fact that it's such an almost 'unreal' fandom helps with the AU's (and the magical realism stories), anything seems possible.

Heh. It's catching. Obviously, getting old songs stuck in your head is actually a contagious disease.

Popslash AU's do indeed rock, I think the fact that it's such an almost 'unreal' fandom helps with the AU's (and the magical realism stories), anything seems possible.

*shruggs* Hmmm... Not that it's unreal, so much as canon is... only vaguely binding at the best of times. Official releases and interviews differ on facts, so it's not as if a fan can point back to an episode and say "This is what's canonical...".

Or maybe it's also because it is RPS, and people are just that little bit less comfortable playing around with real lives, so obvious AUs are encouraged. Either way, it's intriguing.

Popslash does have cool AUs that go all over the place. One thing I like about about Popslash is that there's like three fannon versions of each person since there's a lot of gap in cannon info. Popslash also has the sluttiest RPS characters in the world. =P

George Michael: Everybody knows his stuff although no one admits to it. All it takes is a well placed humming of one of his songs and it will be stuck in your head forever.

Hiya!

Basically, the producers/creators/powers that be of the show called for a press gathering to announce "some important developments" regarding the show. Hence, we don't know if it's definitely back, but there's some big movement going on for Farscape. We'll know tomorrow. *keeps fingers crossed*

Hee! That's so true. It's such a big, slutty fandom. If everyone isn't sleeping with everyone, they're going through a couple of groupies a night. It's impressive these people have the energy to walk the next morning, let alone perform!
