Okay, I kinda needed another coke this afternoon to keep producing anything vaguely resembling work. Of course, that would probably keep me up tonight, so this may work better. (I'm serious. A large bottle of coke kept me caffeinated and awake from 8.30am until about... 2.30pm. That's 7 hours. More coke now would probably have me still up at 11pm, and tonight, we're going back to the set bedtime plan. In bed by 10pm, and that way, my job is dull doable, instead of being a test of stamina.)
Yeah, I'm rambling. However, I'm not emailing people. I'm keeping the ridiculously stream of consciousness stuff to LJ, because that way, anyone who wants to skim it, can. I'm only updating because I'm in a hellish world of holding. (Man, I want Josh's exact quote on that phrase, because I love it dearly.)
Tonight, I'm going home, eating take away fried chicken (Mum's ordering, to celebrate her moving out. Nice idea) and having an early night.
*answers phone call*
Oh man, when someone reads the numbers out to you, and you keep writing down the *wrong* numbers in the *wrong* order, time after time? Proof that you're really tired. Out of 24 interest figures, I think I had to ask for at least ten of them again.
ETA:
hopsakee (Oops, I think I've mispelled that) made me a Scout icon! And, she gave me the idea for the captin I'm going to paste on it. No, I'm wrong. She made me two! *squees* (But I'm generous. If someone else wants 'em, I'm happy to share.)
For all SV fans, if you thought SV was cheesy, it ain't got nothing on Young Americans and the lake of homoerotic desire. So gay, so pretty and such bad scripts. (Actually, it sounds a lot like SV now that I think about it... *g*)

Date: 2004-02-03 11:52 am (UTC)I think I'm a bit naturally sensitive to caffeine. I can't drink coffee because it makes me nauseous. I don't drink tea because it tastes disgusting and I don't actually drink a lot of coke (like, with fast foods, but it's very rare that I have it in the house). So, it's probably because I'm generally slow and uncaffeinated that it has such an effect.
Well, closest I've ever come to coffee was a choc mocha I had at uni one day. It was sweet and chocolately, so I drank it within ten minutes. My hands were *shaking* for the next 30 minutes. I kid you not. I was so caffeinated my hands were trembling as I was typing.
