out_thereHmmm. Got a surprise visit from Mum last night. Fun to talk, although... apparently having troubles with the second hubby again. So, she may be going down and making up after fighting yesterday, or we (her and I) may be making plans to move back over towards Clayton way.
*shrugs* On the good side, I'm meeting her for lunch in an hour, so yay.
Watched the BtVS rerun last night (S1 - Witch). I still think that ep is seriously creepy. It's not the cheerleaders (although Charisma Carpenter's Lakers Girl line still makes me crack up), it's the ending. The tiny muffled screams and the desperate eyes in the cheerleading trophy? Truly scary.
On the other hand, it made me love Oz for his little throwaway line in later seasons (that the eyes seem to follow you around the room). Much like Xander's Snoopy Dance in S5, carrying on from references (in... S2, I think, but could have been S3) of how he and Willow spent Christmas. Those little touches of continuity in the MEverse always make me ridiculously happy.
