Have I mentioned how much I love Daylight Savings being over? Look, I'm up before 7am and there's *natural* *light*! Isn't it great?!
(I mean, yes, it's Melbourne so it's overcast and rainy, and the natural light is pretty dull, but still! Light!)
It's the universe's way of reassuring me that it isn't still midnight. *g*
ETA: Now it's pouring down. *sigh* Where the hell's my umbrella?
ETA2: I forgot what I went online this morning to post. *laughs*
Happy Birthday
alasen!

Date: 2004-03-29 02:02 am (UTC)And the fewer days I have to stand on the tram with ten people's umbrellas dripping on my feet, and the rain coming in a window that simply won't shut, the happier I'll be.
Meanwhile, if "Lawyer Kindergarten" could decide whether they intend to boil us or freeze us...

Date: 2004-03-29 01:01 pm (UTC)For me, it always comes down to a comparison between Melbourne and Canberra winters. Regardless of how wet Melbourne winters may be, it's never as bad as the blue skies and *icy* cold of Canberra. I'd rather carry an umbrella than a big coat, a scarf, gloves *and* a beanie. *g*
