ETA: GIP! By
oxoniensis. I don't care if she says it's cheesy, it makes me smile. It's the hug, and it's cute, and it's... it has just become my Clex-denial icon. (Are Clark and Lex fighting? Nope. See this icon - I *know* they're in love.)

I missed the 7.40am train, and the 8am was cancelled, so Mum offered to drive me. Even though we got the wrong exit off the West Gate Highway and had to make an illegal U-turn, she still got me here right on the dot of 9am. *grins*
We've both been in a really good mood this morning. Might have something to do with the early night. We both went to bed at 9pm (even though I didn't fall asleep until about 10pm, it's early for me). Then, we watched the L-Word.
Official opinions:
- I *love* the mindmap linking everyone to Shane. So cute.
- Jenny is too damn thin. Her arms were seriously freakin' me out. And I shouldn't be able to see her ribcage that clearly. Mum described her as a stick-insect (praying mantis), and it made me cackle. So damn appropriate.
- I'm betting that Jenny will turn down the offer of marriage and say she isn't ready. She won't actually break-up with the boyfriend, but she won't tell him what's going on either.
- The bi girl and the tennis girl make me laugh. They're both very amusing.
- Shane... *sigh* She has the voice, she has the charisma, but she has *no* bust. Okay, she has a bust, but it's barely there. Was highly disappointed when I noticed that. (Yes, girls in tight leather outfits? Normally get to me - ie. Aeryn, Dana. With Shane, I was too distracted by the lack of cleavage.)
- Am intrigued by the couple, even if I haven't got their names figured out yet.
As I was getting out of the car today, Mum said that my eyes were sparkling, and that I was a very pretty girl. (Today, I'm made up and I actually do look pretty good. *g*)
Mum: Do you know how proud that makes me? Both of my children are very good looking.
Me: Fair enough.
Mum: Regardless of how much [Mum's sister] tries to show off that her girls are gorgeous and dating, or that one of them's a model, she knows that they can't compete. I'm really lucky. I look at other people's kids and I think that they're ugly.
Me (sniggering): Yeah, those are four words that always make you feel better. "Your kids are ugly."
