This is too much fun to resist. And a good deal harder than I realised. For my vote, I think that the Wednesday 100 would be fun, although I doubt that mine would actually be in on the Wednesday... (Transatlantic time difference, y'know. *g*)

Clark discovered that growing up was something that happened when you didn't notice.

It was getting up early for chores because they needed to be done, and realising that you can't play truant from work just because you want to. It was acknowledging that people grow apart, and letting things end quietly, without angry screaming matches and recriminations.

It was in the card sitting on his desk, asking, "Can I have another chance?" and in the phone call that followed.

It was in the gentle smile that Lex offered him that night, and in the warm arms that held him.

*g* You're welcome.

Quite a glowing compliment coming from the chick that reminds me that settling down and having kids doesn't mean the end of romance and smut.

Love the fic. Nice job.

And take it from me...kids and jobs and other grown up stuff doesn't mean you can't still be a fangirl :)

Thanks.

At the moment, the only grown up stuff I'm dealing with is the newish job, and if all goes to plan, eventually it'll be funding the fangirly activities.
