Okay, MR's comments on Middle Earth are just cracking me up. "Smallville's a lot like Middle Earth because of it's mystery and it's abundance of freaks. Now, Smallville's completely unlike Middle Earth because there's no teen angst in Middle Earth.... at least I don't think so." Man, I want to see this special. Wonder if we'll get it?

Me too. It should be out early January, from what my local Video Ezy could tell me. Man, I've been going in and asking about it since I moved here (about two months ago). I guessing they think I'm a little obsessed.

Me, obsessed with MR in drag? Nah. I'm sure everyone wants to see it as much as I do.

I'm just a tad interested in MR in drag myself, now that you mention it. I have a lovely, lovely pic of him as Brandi on my wall. My SV obsessed daughter looked at squealed *LEX!*. She's got a good eye (proud mum here) ;-) .

Dodgy. I asked the local store, and they told me early Jan. (Although, they do have the covers out already with "Reserve me now" signs). Hmmm.... In that case, I may be hiring vids on the 19th. ^.^

She was hilarious tonight. Was going crazy with the cliffhanger. "WHO DIES??????" she yelled.

Chased me around the house begging for spoilers. After 10 minutes constant begging, I whispered it into her ear.

She ran off, chanting "I know - who die-ies." She almost killed me when I said "Yeah, but you don't know how they die."

Chased me around the house again... *g*

Not that I'm any better. I've been half-heartedly avoiding spoilers all for weeks, then watched the series finale and cursed the producers for the ending.

Then I got Bernice to fill me in, just a little.

Hee! I love spoilers. I've gone out of my way to read spoiler fic for QAF-US, as I couldn't bear not knowing what happened to Justin *g*.

I used to be into spoilers, but lately... I get sick of seeing episodes months afterwards, and it does take out some of the fun for me.

Plus, I get excited and accidentally tend to tell people who don't want to know...

I get so into the fic side of a fandom that the spoilers just happen. It's gotten so that I find I've read all about a show before I've even seen a single ep. Happened with Once A Thief and The Sentinel, then I found I liked knowing beforehand so I actively look for spoilers now with more recent shows.

Don't stress too much. I think it's also a reaction to SV fic. Originally got into it because of Te's Oz/Lex fic in, like, November 2001. Started reading, and read a lot of SV fics before SV even screened. The problem is that if I read too many fics before getting a good idea of the series for myself, my canon becomes very tainted by fanon. You start to see the show in the way that others have described it... (Hence, only reading TWoP recaps after I've seen the ep. Otherwise, I get recapper snark stuck in my mind while watching.)

Happened with Gundam Wing. Read hoards of fic, when I finally saw it, I was so disappointed (that was partly caused by the bad subbing, too). It put me off the fandom altogether.

Hence, I'm trying not to get too spoiled. But SV fandom is huge, and it's impossible to avoid some spoilers... and other you come across just because you want to read a particular fic. I don't know... Knowing me, I'll probably get a bit SV deprived over the break and start checking spoilers anyway...
