And now, bedtime. (For real, yo.)

And after just watching The Storm/The Eye again today, I have to say that I'm kinda digging the fact that the Genii are as flawed/badly planned as our Intrepid Explorers (ie. the SGA crew).
The real reason Kolya's mission fails? Is because instead of sticking to the mission plan and getting a specific target, he decides to push his apparent advantage (low numbers, surprise, etc) to take the entire city. If he'd gone in for the C4 and then gotten out? I think he would have made it.
I mean, not that I want to point fingers at John and Rodney, but let's admit it. The reason two people die in The Defiant One is because they wanted to take the opportunity to expand their mission directive (from "check out the abandoned Ancient satellite" to "go have fun exploring a Wraith ship that's sending out a distress message").
Which is a random and means nothing, other than the one thing that makes me forgive the incompetance of the heroes is that the villians are just as bad.
