I have certain tastes.

Slave stories is a secret kink of mine. If it's a story where John's expected to be Rodney's sex slave and there are also numerous scenes of him being deadly -- lethal, *sexy*, deadly -- with a long sharp sword? I'm there and loving it. I'm talking about The Blade by kellifer_fic, which is twelve parts (all finished) and had me very, very happy.

Also, any story where John tries to make ends meet by being a (ridiculously bad) sex telemarketer? Bound to crack me up.

"I've got a list of transcripts here to read from," he said. "What are you in the mood for?"

"Are you serious?" Rodney asked. "Are you supposed to tell people its all fake?"

There was another snort at the other end of the line, and Rodney reluctantly admitted it sounded really cute. His vision of the pot-bellied drug addict was changing up a little. "I figure you seem smart enough that you've already got us all figured out anyway, besides, I've been at this for hours, and I've decided I'd like to be fired."

The Hotline by laytoncolt is funny and sweet and very G-rated.

ETA: Also, and this might only be of interest to USA-based peoples, but scrunchy is having a Crazy Sale of knitted stuff. I'm very tempted. Check it out.

It took me ages to find time to check that out, but thank you. I was thrilled that it has the Key stories! I haven't read those in... well... a long time. And a lot of them were unfinished, so now I get to look through and see if any of them ever got finished. (and to see if the smut that thrilled me as a newbie eight years ago stands up to my current tastes)

It even has The Emerald Key, which is the best (and, okay, *only*) Dennis The Mennis slash I've read.

My only sad thought is that the formatting on those pages is shocking to read.
