My life...
Apr. 26th, 2003 06:28 pmSo far, I've had a wonderfully unproductive day. *g*
Woke up early-ish, watched videos (just TV stuff that I missed last night, like The Glasshouse) and flicked through Video Hits/Rage/Cartoons. I had a nap this afternoon, then watched all three hours of The Jury and am now up to date.
I've had a look at my finances, and low and behold, very rough budget. If I'm a bit tight (ie. no impulse shopping) and don't spend on going out (which I'm not doing at the moment anyway. This is the second weekend where I've thought about it, and then just couldn't be stuffed!) I can afford the rent here on my own. Hence, no housemate! Yay!
I sewed up the holes in my winter coat. I've had the coat for about six years now, and it's missing two buttons and I've torn the lining in two places. One button broke last winter, and one fell off the winter before that, so I've decided to *gasp* actually fix 'em up. Couldn't find matching buttons, so I'll just have to replace all six. Now the coat, needle, thread and buttons are sitting on my bed to be done while watching The Bill tonight (and the ads between SV). Yes, this is the excitment of my life.
I'm off to cook potato and tomato omelette for dinner, but I'll be back online until SV starts.

Date: 2003-04-26 01:51 am (UTC)I was just looking over my LJ entry and thinking, 'this is so boring. I wonder why anyone reads it...'
Then you realise, that the people who read it are those who have similar values. ie. A weekend watching TV is a good thing!
Re:
Date: 2003-04-26 02:02 am (UTC)you know, this is probably more true than you think. ive been thinking about this more often as i add and drop new people on my friends list. i've found i'm becoming more and more selective, and definately more inclined towards people who have not just similar interests, although that's nto always an important factor, but towards people who tend to have the same habbits, such as being a lazy bum and spending the weekend watching movies and enjoying it for what it is.
